I-9 & E-Verify Process
Official Form I-9
This portal does not replace official Form I-9. Complete official Form I-9 after a job offer and no later than the employee’s first day of employment for Section 1. Employer document review and Section 2 must be completed within the required deadline.
- Do not request more or different documents than required.
- Allow the employee to choose valid documents from List A or List B + List C.
- Retain I-9 records according to federal retention rules.
- Keep I-9 records separate from general personnel files where possible.
Florida E-Verify
If Luminex has 25 or more employees, or if public-contract requirements apply, use E-Verify for new employees and document the case number/status.
Record E-Verify case number, status, completion date, and any tentative nonconfirmation follow-up in the Compliance Review tab.
