Applicant Privacy, SSN Handling & Retention Policy

Luminex Janitorial Services collects applicant information only for onboarding, employment eligibility, background screening, hiring, assignment, and compliance purposes.

SSN handling

• The general employee onboarding profile must not display or store a full SSN.
• The portal stores last four digits plus a verification token for review tracking.
• Access to private verification information is limited to authorized admin/super admin users.
• Records must be retained only as long as required for hiring, employment, audit, dispute, and legal requirements.

Security

Use authenticated access, role-based permissions, private storage buckets, least-privilege access, and secure disposal of records after required retention periods.

Applicant rights

Applicants may ask Luminex for information about their onboarding records, correction of inaccurate information, and information about background-screening reports as required by law.
